Frank Dicker Fulford
25.5.1917 - 23.7.2008

Dick was a great supporter of Boobs & Brass & attended our concerts from 2006 until 2008. Rene, his wife of 61 years, died of breast cancer in 2004. He had served on the Russian Convoys in the Royal Navy during the second world war & would be highly amused to be remembered by this piece of music!
Mary Alger
5.12.1918 - 12.3.2011

Mary was the cousin of Dick Fulford (above) and was born 3 months after her father was killed in action in WW1. She lived life to the full serving in the WRAF during WW2 & was passionate about music, especially all forms of dancing. She was still line-dancing at the age of 90! Mary had treatment for breast cancer in the 1960s but never let it affect her enthusiasm for life. She was always interested in hearing about the progress of Boobs & Brass & would be delighted to be remembered by this piece of music.
Malcolm Robin Dixon
18.6.1935 - 9.6.2012

Father of cornet player Kay Hollingsworth
"The son of an RAF Squadron Leader who was involved in the Berlin Airlift, my dad loved music from a very early age. He was a choir boy and having married my mum who comes from a long line of brass musicians his interest in music, especially because of my involvement, continued to grow throughout his life. Music was always in our house so it is fitting “this” music will resonate in many concerts, and continue to help us remember a fantastic husband and dad who will never be forgotten"
