12th November:
Gill English recently organised a "Wear it Pink" day at her office
& Horsham Borough Band raising a total of
£452.50 which has now been sent to Breast Cancer Campaign.
What a great job she did!


Gill says: "As you can see everyone entered into the spirit of the day and my pink wig was admired by all!"

21st October:
When our roving Flugel player Sue Smith left Bacup she was at the station waiting for a train and got speaking to two people - one named Jules Beresford-Dent. They saw Sues "Boobs and Brass" jacket and asked what it was all about and Sue explained. They then got on the train and went their separate ways. A few minutes later, they came and found Sue and handed her 2 £5 notes and asked her to put it to the BCC charity. Fantastic!! Thank you from all of us.

27th September
: Many thanks to Henry Fanshawe School, Dronfield, Derbyshire for their donation of £74 to our charity - this is money raised by Fanshawe 04 during school year 2011 to 2012 - they organised a sponsored bike ride.
25th September: Glenis & Marion ran the merchandise stall at the National Finals in Cheltenham last weekend. There was fantastic support for us from bandspersons from all over the country! Many thanks to all those who bought a "Friends of Boobs" Lucky Square - we sold 150 & managed to make a profit of £156!
3rd September: A very successful concert at the Rushden Salvation Army Church on 2nd September. There was a collection for Breast Cancer Campaign which raised £628.20! (Click HERE for further details re fundraising totals)
1st September
: Many thanks to Janice & Jane of BeautySpot Market Harborough (01858 465344) who raised £211 for Boobs & Brass on the first anniversary of their business in August 2012
30th August: £1143 has been sent to BCC - £460 CD sales & £683 from the proceeds of the TV fundraising day
25th August: A new book by Chris Vale has just been published.
It is called 'The Rhythm Cats' & available from Amazon. It is about an attempt by some of Lucy Brindle's Ladies Band to form a group with a view to breaking into the popular music scene.
1st August:
